The paintings which grace the walls of The Bell include the works of Kumara Ratnayake, one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated artists. Kumara is a self taught artist who is based in Pasyala, a rustic village in the beautiful countryside to the north of Colombo. Many of his paintings reflect the tranquillity and beauty of this stunning area as well as reflecting the aspirations and sorrows of the people that live in this region.
Kumara is one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated artists and he has won the President's award for art. His art has been exhibited and sold in the United States of America, Hong Kong, Asia as well as in many of the major cities in Europe.
